Finances

If you are in financial hardship due to experiencing fraud you can speak to our finance and funding team who can advise if any financial support is available.

Food Bank items are also available through the SU FoodBank and via referral through SU Advice to local food banks.

Laptop loans are also available to students.

Police

If you are off campus and in immediate danger call the police on 999.

You can also report fraud directly to the police by calling 101 or completing their online form.

If the fraud has been committed by another student, staff member, or member of the university community or there are ongoing risks please complete a Report and Support form with your contact details and a member of the team will get in touch to discuss support available and reporting options. Please note that you can do this before or after contacting the police.

If the fraud was not committed by a member of the university community and there’s no further risk, you can still complete a form which can be helpful for us better understanding issues faced by students but depending on the nature of the report we may pass this onto part of a wider wellbeing team to get in touch to see if any further support required.
