Police
If you are off campus and in immediate danger call the police on 999.
You can also report any crime directly to the police eg: theft, fraud, harassment, hate crime by calling 101 or completing their online form.
If you have experienced a crime from another student, staff member, or member of the public on campus, or there are ongoing risks please complete a Report and Support form with your contact details and a member of the team will get in touch to discuss support available and reporting options. Please note that you can do this before or after contacting the police.
If the crime was not committed by a member of the university community and there’s no further risk, you can still complete a form which can be helpful for us better understanding issues faced by students but depending on the nature of the report we may pass this onto part of a wider wellbeing team to get in touch to see if any further support required.
If you have lost property on campus or require a new university card you can go to the security office next to Hallward Library on University Park. You can also complete a lost property form.
If you are on campus and require support in an emergency, you can call the team 24/7 on 0115 951 8888 (for emergencies only)
